My name is Dessie Jeanne Marshall and I am a 26 year old unconventional artist from Drumheller Alberta. I spent my first 12 years living outside town in a little coulee called Verdant Valley, and although we were poor and had no TV I always felt very lucky to live in such an amazing place. My sister and I spent our days outside riding the horses, exploring the countryside, helping my mother with chores, going fossil hunting with my father, climbing trees, swimming in Michichi Creek and generally just growing up the same way the current generations' grandparents did.
